I immerse myself in creativity, feeling the need to make touch with it almost daily… In my youth, my favorite classes were in art and creative writing. Having the privilege of growing up in Florida further inspired me with its coastal beauty. In college I chose to study journalism and then enjoyed a career in TV news which included anchoring on CNN in Atlanta.
In my 50’s I reunited with my artistic passion and began painting abstracts, many of which brought me back to my Florida roots.
My works are typically created with many layers of various materials: paint, resin, concrete, mud, oil and graphite sticks. I use various tools, brushes, knives and kitchen tools among other objects in the application and design process.
I know none of this would be possible without God’s generous gift of allowing me to be a working artist. I am so grateful to be able to see many of my clients feel a meaningful connection with my pieces they choose for their sacred spaces.
