Meet Laurie Bogue

Hi, I’m Laurie and I am so glad you are here to learn about me and my art!

I LOVE being an artist, sometimes I have to pinch myself! Seeing my creations in homes and offices fills me with pride and joy!

I feel it is in my DNA to create and work with my hands. I am a very passionate person and putting that energy on a canvas allows me to transfer and translate ideas that I cannot otherwise express.

I thank God for igniting this passion and providing me opportunities to create art.

I was blessed to spend many years growing up in coastal Florida and that experience serves as great inspiration today. There is frequently an underlying nature theme, whether I am painting abstracts or florals.

My early career was spent in news where I worked as an anchor on CNN In the 1990’s. I moved into media sales and then I was blessed with a new door opening in 2010.

This is when I began to paint and study art.

I am a hybrid of being self taught and spending time learning from other amazing artists. My paintings are living layers of creativity and I am simply the conduit for the message of the work and how it speaks to you. It is an incredible honor to have my pieces live in the sacred spaces of people’s lives.

My works are held in private and corporate collections in the US and Europe.
